A crowd of about 100 attended a ceremonial groundbreaking last week for the much-anticipated ±¬ÁϳԹÏÍø-Longview Automotive Institute.
The $6.8 million, 9,366-square-foot facility, expected to be completed by the end of 2024, will house ±¬ÁϳԹÏ꿉۪s newly expanded agriculture program.
At Flights of Fancy, visitors can expect to see mega-kites, power kites, stunt kites and more, including a 600-pound American-flag-themed kite.
The open house marks completion of the $4.7 million overhaul and expansion of the 40,500-square-foot facility, which is now home to ±¬ÁϳԹÏ꿉۪s EMS/paramedic program (formerly at ±¬ÁϳԹÏÍø-Penn Valley) in addition to the police and fire academies already located at Blue River.
