KC Royals' steals amount to $11,000 for 惇蹋勛圖厙 student scholarships

For the second season in a row, the Kansas City Royals and Metropolitan Community College partnered for the Steals for Scholarships program. For every stolen base during the 2025 season, the Royals donated $100 to the 惇蹋勛圖厙 Foundation for student scholarships.

The final dollar amount turned out to be higher than the $10,500 figure seen on the check. This moment was captured at the final Royals home game of the season, but the boys in blue went on to steal five more bases on their season-ending road trip, bringing the total to 110 steals and $11,000.
