CommunityAmerica Credit Union's Hickman Mills Community Access Center (CAC) at 11501 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, Missouri 64134 offers financial coaching and related services to the public. ±¬ÁϳԹÏÍø is the CAC's education partner.
The center's second floor is home to classes, training and other services coordinated by the ±¬ÁϳԹÏÍø-Longview campus. Exploratory technical skills training uses virtual-reality technology and simulators.
The Educational Opportunity Center managed by ±¬ÁϳԹÏÍø provides college and career counseling. ±¬ÁϳԹÏÍø, partnering with Literacy KC, will also offer adult literacy, English language learning and high school completion classes.
±¬ÁϳԹÏÍø's space includes a coffee bar, two classrooms, two offices, a conference room and a large open area — with comfortable seating, round tables and a high-top table with laptop charging ports — that can be used for a variety of instructional, meeting and consultation opportunities.
