For information, contact the ±¬ÁϳԹÏÍø-Longview financial aid office at 816.604.1000. Apply for financial aid 6-10 months prior to enrollment. The ±¬ÁϳԹÏÍø scholarship application deadline for the fall semester is March 1.

Award: $500

Area of Study: General Automotive student, GM or Ford ASSET program
Academic Performance: 2.0 GPA
Enrollment Status: At least 6 hours

Ford ASSET Scholarship Fund (00340)

Award: $1,000
Submission Requirements: Requires written recommendation from an instructor, college counselor, or employer

Residency: no restrictions
Area of Study: Automotive Technology Ford ASSET Program
Academic Performance: 3.0 GPA
Enrollment Status: At least 12 credit hours
Financial Need Required: No

Student must have completed one or more semesters (minimum of 15 credit hours) at ±¬ÁϳԹÏÍø. Student must be sponsored as an ASSET intern by a Ford or Lincoln dealer and must be able to be employed in the United States. Student must be recommended by the ASSET instructor at ±¬ÁϳԹÏÍø.


NAFA Fleet Management (Mid-America Region) Scholarship (00363)

Award: $2,000 - tuition and fees only
Submission Requirements: Requires written recommendation from an instructor or school counselor or employer AND a 400-500 word essay answering the question, "Why Have You Chosen the Automotive Field and What Are
Your Goals?"
